Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

White Mountain Country Club, Pinetop Arizona: A Traditional Golfing Experience

White Mountain Country Club, nestled in the heart of Pinetop, Arizona, offers a traditional 18-hole private golf course that has stood the test of time since its establishment in 1956. Designed by the renowned Milt Coggins and Gray Madison, with later modifications by Jack Snyder in 1959, this par-73 course presents a challenging yet rewarding experience for golfers of all skill levels. Stretching across 6,534 yards, White Mountain boasts a slope rating of 120 and a rating score of 69.4, indicating a moderate level of difficulty. The course operates from May through October, inviting golfers to immerse themselves in its scenic beauty and well-manicured bent grass fairways and greens. Beyond the golf course, the club offers a range of amenities, including driving range practice areas, pitching and chipping areas, putting greens, and even tennis courts for those seeking additional sporting activities. While a collared shirt is required (with cutoffs prohibited), denim attire is permitted, ensuring a relaxed yet respectful dress code.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

White Mountain Country Club has garnered a mix of reviews from golfers, reflecting diverse experiences on the course. One enthusiastic player hailed it as a "top 2" course among the 15 they had played across the United States in the past six weeks. They particularly praised the friendly and welcoming staff, the magnificent layout of the course, and the excellent bistro. The overall condition of the course and the perceived value for money also received high marks.

However, not all reviews were as glowing. Another golfer expressed disappointment with their experience at White Mountain Country Club. While they acknowledged the perfect weather conditions, they felt that other aspects fell short. They drew comparisons to other layouts in Pinetop CC and even suggested that a trip to Flagstaff might offer a more satisfying golfing experience. These contrasting viewpoints highlight the subjective nature of golf course evaluations and the varying expectations of different players.

The Links Cards, a respected authority in golf course evaluations, provides its own insights into the value proposition of White Mountain Country Club. While acknowledging the positive feedback from some golfers, The Links Cards also recognizes the concerns raised by others. They emphasize the importance of considering individual preferences and expectations when assessing the value of a golf course. For those seeking a well-maintained course with a stunning layout and friendly staff, White Mountain Country Club may offer good value. However, golfers who prioritize other factors, such as challenging layouts or a wider range of amenities, may find alternative courses in the area more appealing. Ultimately, the decision of whether White Mountain Country Club represents a worthwhile golfing experience lies with each individual player, based on their unique preferences and priorities.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
