Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Player Reviews: Mixed Opinions and Areas for Improvement

While South Hills Golf Club boasts a scenic location and challenging layout, player reviews reveal some areas for improvement. Some reviewers have expressed disappointment with the course conditions, citing issues such as bare spots on greens and unmowed fairways. The lack of proper course maintenance has led to frustrations, with one reviewer describing the conditions as "laughable" and reporting the loss of several golf balls due to the poor upkeep.

Another common complaint pertains to the overall ambiance and amenities. Reviewers have mentioned finding trash and old cigarettes in golf carts, indicating a lack of attention to cleanliness. The snack bar has also received criticism for its limited food options and a local bar-like atmosphere, complete with heated arguments between patrons and the bartender.

One particularly harsh review referred to South Hills Golf Club as a "goat tract," highlighting the dissatisfaction with both the course design and its upkeep. These negative experiences underscore the need for significant improvements to elevate the golfing experience at South Hills.

The Links Cards acknowledges the concerns raised by players regarding the conditions and amenities at South Hills Golf Club. We understand that these issues can detract from the overall golfing experience and are committed to working with the club's management to address these concerns.

While the course layout provides a challenging and enjoyable round, the subpar conditions and lack of proper maintenance have overshadowed the positive aspects. To enhance the value proposition for golfers, we believe that South Hills Golf Club should prioritize course improvements, including better maintenance of greens and fairways, as well as improved cleanliness and ambiance.

By addressing these concerns and implementing necessary upgrades, South Hills Golf Club has the potential to transform into a premier golfing destination in Parkersburg. We encourage the club's management to take these reviews seriously and work towards providing a more enjoyable and memorable golfing experience for all players.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
