Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag

Player reviews for Sands/Lakes at Star Hill Golf & Country Club paint a mixed picture. While some golfers rave about the course conditions and layout, others have had less than favorable experiences with staff friendliness and pricing.

Positive reviews highlight the course's excellent maintenance, with lush bent grass greens that ensure consistent playing conditions throughout the year. The fairways are strategically designed with well-placed bunkers and water hazards, adding an element of excitement to each hole. Golfers also appreciate the inclusion of carts in green fees and the availability of practice facilities, including a driving range and access to professional instruction.

However, negative reviews mention instances of unfriendly staff behavior. Some players have reported sexist remarks and a lack of transparency regarding pricing, feeling misled into paying extra charges after initially booking a tee time.

The Links Card, a respected golf course review platform, offers its perspective on the value proposition of Sands/Lakes at Star Hill Golf & Country Club. While acknowledging the course's well-maintained conditions and picturesque holes along the water, The Links Card also emphasizes the need for improvement in customer service and pricing transparency.

The Links Card suggests that Sands/Lakes at Star Hill Golf & Country Club has the potential to be a top-rated course with its scenic layout and challenging play. However, addressing the concerns raised by players regarding staff behavior and pricing practices would significantly enhance the overall golfing experience and attract more players.

In conclusion, Sands/Lakes at Star Hill Golf & Country Club offers a mix of positive and negative experiences for golfers. While the course conditions and layout are generally praised, there is room for improvement in terms of staff friendliness and pricing transparency. With these aspects addressed, Sands/Lakes at Star Hill has the potential to become a premier golf destination in Cape Carteret.
