Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Golfers who have graced the fairways of Salem Golf Club have shared a range of experiences, offering valuable insights into the course's strengths and areas for improvement. Many reviewers have lauded the club's beautiful tree-lined course, appreciating its old-school charm and challenging layout. One reviewer aptly noted, "If you keep the ball in play and out of the trees, you can score on this course." The friendly and engaging staff at Salem Golf Club has also received positive mentions, adding to the overall golfing experience.

However, not all reviews have been glowing. Some golfers have pointed out that Salem Golf Club, being a municipal course with membership privileges, has certain reserved times for members, which can limit non-members' access to the course. Additionally, concerns have been raised regarding the pace of play, with some reviewers reporting slow rounds. Maintenance issues with tee boxes and bunkers have also been mentioned, suggesting a need for improvement in these areas.

The Links Card, a respected authority in golf course evaluations, offers its own perspective on the value proposition of Salem Golf Club. While acknowledging the course's charm and atmosphere, The Links Card highlights the importance of managing expectations regarding pace of play and overall maintenance standards. Golfers who prioritize these factors may need to carefully consider their preferences before booking a tee time.

In conclusion, Salem Golf Club presents a unique blend of charm, challenge, and accessibility, making it a worthwhile destination for golfers seeking a classic golfing experience. However, golfers should be aware of potential drawbacks, such as limited access for non-members, slow pace of play, and maintenance issues, to ensure that their expectations align with the course's offerings.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
