Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Add Naperbrook Golf Course to our network of partner courses that are achieving better yields without harmful discount practices

Naperbrook Golf Course, situated in the charming town of Plainfield, Illinois, offers an exceptional links-style golfing experience that caters to players of all skill levels. Designed by the renowned golf course architect, Larry Packard, this 18-hole course was meticulously crafted in 1991 on former farmland, transforming it into a picturesque landscape of rolling hills adorned with native prairie grasses.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Golfers who have graced the fairways of Naperbrook Golf Course have shared a range of experiences. While some have lauded the course for its pristine conditions and well-thought-out layout, others have expressed concerns about the friendliness of the staff and the perceived value for money.

One golfer recounted an unpleasant encounter with a check-in employee named Don J, whose condescending attitude supposedly tainted their entire experience. Another player voiced frustration over unexpected additional fees upon arrival at the clubhouse despite booking online.

However, positive reviews also abound. One golfer described Naperbrook as a delightful "park district course" with well-maintained grounds, even during challenging drought conditions. The incorporation of modern technology, such as the Golf Now Compete app, was also praised for providing convenient distance information on specific holes.

Drawing comparisons to its sister course, Springbrook, another reviewer commended Naperbrook for offering an enjoyable round of golf without being overly challenging. The consistently good course conditions were also highlighted as a major draw.

Despite the varying opinions on staff friendliness and value for money, there is a consensus among golfers that Naperbrook Golf Course provides a pleasant playing experience with generally satisfactory course conditions.

The Links Card, a respected golf course rating system, offers its own insights into the value proposition of Naperbrook Golf Course. While acknowledging the course's traditional links-style layout and scenic beauty, the Links Card emphasizes the balance between player-friendly elements and more challenging aspects.

The open and generous fairways, coupled with large greens featuring intriguing undulations and tiers, create an inviting environment for golfers of all skill levels. However, the strategically placed hidden bunkers and the tall grasses, which pose a greater challenge than the water hazards, demand precision and thoughtful shot-making.

The par 5s are designed to be both lengthy and reachable, providing a sense of accomplishment for those who successfully navigate them. Conversely, the par 3s present a formidable test that rewards calculated risks.

Despite the occasional mixed reviews regarding staff interactions and perceived value, Naperbrook Golf Course continues to attract golfers seeking a pleasant and engaging round of golf. The course's overall quality and enjoyable layout outweigh any minor concerns, making it a worthwhile destination for golf enthusiasts.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!
