Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Las Vegas National Golf Course, Las Vegas, Nevada: A Unique Golfing Experience

Las Vegas National Golf Course, nestled in the heart of Las Vegas, Nevada, offers golfers a traditional 18-hole resort-style course that blends seamlessly with the city's vibrant energy. Designed by renowned architect Bert Stamps and established in 1961, this historic course holds a special place in golf lore as the site of Tiger Woods' first PGA Tour victory during the Las Vegas Invitational.

With a par of 71 and stretching over 6,815 yards from the championship tees, Las Vegas National provides a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels. The course boasts five inventive par-3 holes that add a touch of character to its layout. Surrounded by lush palm trees and strategically placed sand traps, this old-school golf haven stands out from its desert counterparts, offering a unique golfing experience amidst the glitz and glamour of Sin City.

Conveniently located just minutes away from the Las Vegas Strip, the course offers easy access to a variety of amenities, including nearby fast-food options. The clubhouse's charming pastel-colored stucco design adds to the course's retro appeal, transporting visitors back to a bygone era. Overall, Las Vegas National Golf Course masterfully combines history with scenic beauty, creating an unforgettable golfing experience for players of all skill levels seeking a respite from the bustling city life.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Las Vegas National Golf Course has garnered a mix of reviews from golfers, highlighting both its strengths and areas for improvement. The friendly and welcoming attitude of the staff has been consistently praised, with one reviewer remarking, "Starting with staff friendliness, these guys are at the top of their game. Everyone greeted us with a very warm welcome." The course's rich history also impressed many, with another reviewer noting, "The proshop and dining area is worth coming early for. This course is drenched in history."

However, some concerns have been raised regarding the course conditions and layout. A few reviewers felt that the greens were not well-maintained or were too slow, while others mentioned the presence of wet spots on the fairways. These criticisms indicate areas where the course could benefit from improvements to enhance the overall golfing experience.

Despite the criticisms, many reviewers found value in playing at Las Vegas National Golf Course compared to other courses in the area. One golfer commented, "Fantastic option as an alternative to Bali Hai or Wynn but a different experience as it is a true Municipal course with a parkland style." This sentiment highlights the course's ability to offer a unique and enjoyable golfing experience at a more affordable price point compared to some of the more premier courses in Las Vegas.

In summary, while there is room for improvement in terms of maintenance and pace of play, Las Vegas National Golf Course still holds appeal for golfers seeking a historical and charming golfing experience at a good value. Its friendly staff, rich history, and distinct parkland-style layout make it a worthwhile choice for those looking for an alternative to the more luxurious courses in the area.

FAQs

About Staff Memberships

Our partner courses have come to love, enjoy, and look forward to their staff memberships each year.

  1. We offer free memberships for your employees to use at other partner courses for access to the same perks available to our paying members. Your staff's cards will carry your courses' name and their name so they're identified as industry insiders.
  2. New in 2022: an unofficial industry rate program. At the request of several partner courses, we're creating a section in our listings for insider rates that are only visible and available to registered staff members. Participation by your course is optional
  3. Your staff memberships will stay active as long as your course remains active on the platform

Our revenue comes from selling memberships to golfers to access the special offers.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
