Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

Horicon Hills Golf Club: A Scenic Gem in Horicon, Wisconsin

Horicon Hills Golf Club, formerly known as Rock River Hills Golf Club, is a public course nestled in the charming town of Horicon, Wisconsin. Designed by renowned architect Homer Fieldhouse and established in 1965, this 18-hole course offers a delightful golfing experience for players of all skill levels. With a par of 70 and a length of 6,350 yards from the blue tees, it provides ample challenges for seasoned golfers while remaining accessible to beginners. The layout incorporates water hazards on 13 holes, demanding accuracy off the tee and strategic shot placement around well-positioned bunkers. The gently rolling landscape is adorned with mature trees, creating both scenic vistas and obstacles throughout the course. Despite its secluded location, Horicon Hills Golf Club has consistently maintained its status as one of southern Wisconsin's best-kept secrets due to its pristine conditions and enjoyable golfing experience.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Horicon Hills Golf Club has garnered a mix of reviews from golfers, reflecting both positive and negative experiences. Some players have lauded the course conditions and layout, praising the interesting challenges and well-maintained greens. Others have expressed concerns about the perceived value for money and the friendliness of the staff.

Positive reviews highlight the course's enjoyable layout and challenging features. One golfer remarked, "Nice course… enjoyed the round. Course is in good shape. Interesting layout." Another player echoed this sentiment, stating, "This is now one of my favorite courses due to the interesting layout and challenges for any golfer."

However, negative comments have also surfaced, primarily regarding value and customer service. One golfer mentioned an unexpected cart rental fee of $18 per person, expressing dissatisfaction with the lack of transparency in pricing. Another player shared a similar experience, stating that booking through an app did not provide any cost advantage.

Despite these mixed reviews, many golfers still recommend Horicon Hills Golf Club as a worthwhile golfing destination. One enthusiastic player exclaimed, "Gem! This is now one of my favorite courses… greens are fast and super smooth."

The Links Card's Perspective on Value

The Links Card, a respected golf course review platform, offers its own perspective on the value proposition of Horicon Hills Golf Club. While acknowledging the course's challenges and interesting layout, The Links Card highlights the need for improvement in terms of pricing transparency and customer service. While player reviews have been mixed, with some praising the course conditions and others expressing concerns about value and customer service, the course remains a popular destination for golfers seeking a unique and enjoyable golfing experience.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
