Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

Player Reviews: Mixed Opinions on Glenway's Experience

Glenway Municipal Golf Course has garnered mixed reviews from golfers. Some players appreciate the course's well-manicured conditions, praising its maintenance throughout the year. However, others have noted that the course layout can lead to slow play, affecting the overall pace of the game.

The clubhouse, described as old and uninviting, could benefit from renovations to enhance its appeal. Additionally, the pro shop's limited selection of golf accessories leaves room for improvement. The concession stand offers basic snacks and drinks, but lacks hot food and alcoholic beverages, which some golfers may find inconvenient.

Despite these shortcomings, Glenway Municipal Golf Course attracts a diverse crowd, including kids, college students, retirees, and elderly players seeking an affordable and leisurely round of golf. The relaxed atmosphere and peaceful surroundings have won over many players, with some even considering it their favorite course in Madison.

The Links Card, a renowned golf course rating system, provides valuable insights into Glenway Municipal Golf Course. While acknowledging the course's well-maintained conditions, The Links Card highlights the potential for slower play due to the course layout. The limited amenities, including the clubhouse, pro shop, and concession stand, are also noted as areas for improvement.

Despite these drawbacks, The Links Card recognizes Glenway's appeal to a specific segment of golfers seeking an affordable and relaxed golfing experience. The course's peaceful surroundings and quaint atmosphere resonate with players who prioritize enjoyment over high-end amenities.

In conclusion, Glenway Municipal Golf Course offers a mixed experience for golfers. While its well-maintained conditions and affordable rates are commendable, the course layout can lead to slower play and the amenities could use improvement. However, for those seeking a laid-back round of golf in a peaceful setting, Glenway Municipal Golf Course remains a popular choice, especially among kids, college students, and retirees.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
