Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Player Reviews: Mixed Opinions on Edgewater's Golfing Experience

Edgewater Beach Resort & Golf Course has garnered mixed reviews from players, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of their golfing experiences. Some players have lauded the course conditions and the friendly nature of the staff, while others have expressed concerns about certain aspects of the course.

One golfer, who visited on September 13, 2023, praised the course's consistent good condition and the excellent friendliness of the staff. They mentioned that they have played the course numerous times due to limited options in the area and have always had a positive experience.

Another player, who visited on July 5, 2018, noted improvements in the course over the past year. However, they cautioned that the course is not an easy par 3, with water hazards on every hole. While the pace of play was generally good, they warned that it could slow down if beginners were playing.

On the other hand, a reviewer who played on November 20, 2015, expressed disappointment with Edgewater's nine-hole layout. Despite multiple visits, they remained unimpressed and only played the course due to time constraints and its proximity to their resort.

Overall, opinions vary regarding Edgewater Beach Resort & Golf Course's layout and value for money. While some golfers find it enjoyable, others are less enthusiastic about their experiences.

The Links Cards, a renowned golf course rating system, provides its own perspective on the perceived value of Edgewater Beach Resort & Golf Course. According to their analysis, Edgewater offers a mixed experience for golfers.

Some players have praised the course conditions and staff friendliness, echoing the positive sentiments expressed by other golfers. They appreciate the well-maintained course and the welcoming attitude of the staff, making for an enjoyable golfing experience.

However, The Links Cards also acknowledges the concerns raised by other players. They recognize that the nine-hole layout may not appeal to everyone and that the course may not provide the same level of challenge and excitement as other options in the area.

Overall, The Links Cards suggests that Edgewater Beach Resort & Golf Course may be a suitable choice for golfers seeking a shorter and more relaxed round, but those looking for a more challenging and comprehensive golfing experience may find it lacking in certain aspects.

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

Resort Use Cases

Many resorts face a problem of under utilization - especially during weekdays. The Links Card platform allows you to create offers that:

a) allow you to use locals to increase yields on your expiring tee times without interferring with your guests' tee times or their higher fees,

b) Advertise last minute stay and play packages to our members, of whom, 34% are willing to travel for a good deal on 1-2 weeks notice, 54% on 1 month's notice

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
