Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Discovery Bay Golf Club in Port Townsend, Washington has garnered a range of feedback from golfers. While some players have lauded the course for its excellent conditions, well-designed layout, and friendly staff, others have pointed out areas for improvement. Positive reviews highlight the course's pristine conditions, with one player remarking, "Conditions were excellent," while another commends the staff, describing them as "an excellent staff." The course layout is generally well-received, with praise for the scenic views and forgiving fairways on the front nine. However, some reviewers have noted that certain aspects of the course require attention, such as greens with bare spots and firm or dry fairways. Despite these criticisms, many golfers still recommend Discovery Bay Golf Club for its overall value and welcoming atmosphere, making it a solid choice for those seeking an enjoyable and challenging round of golf in Port Townsend.

The Links Cards provides a balanced perspective on the value proposition of Discovery Bay Golf Club. While acknowledging the course's stunning ocean views and challenging 18-hole layout designed by Michael Asmundson in 1925, it also highlights certain drawbacks. The course's length of 6641 yards and par of 72 cater to intermediate and advanced players, offering them an opportunity to test their skills. Previous golfers have generally praised the well-maintained conditions of the course, although occasional concerns have been raised regarding fairway weeds being mowed short instead of presenting lush green grass. The friendly and welcoming staff at Discovery Bay Golf Club has also been commended for enhancing the overall golfing experience. Despite minor issues such as greens with bare spots or firm and dry fairways, the club's beautiful surroundings, affordable rates, and warm hospitality contribute to its overall high value. For those seeking a memorable golfing experience on Washington's Olympic Peninsula, Discovery Bay Golf Club is certainly worth considering.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.
