Huge Benefits For Your Course

how the links card helps remove harmful discounts practices

Understanding that price sensitive golfers are value loyal, not brand loyal

This is the most important part of the process. By understanding that value golfers are a segment with a different mentality, you can start to leverage this powerful demographic for better yields by creating offers specific to them.

Create specific offers for specific goals for specific audiences

This is the hardest step to accept. It goes against your very nature. If you're going to pay for marketing, you want to reach the most people possible, right?

Not anymore.

We want you to reach the right audience with the right offer for the right goal.

Join our network of partner courses for marketing efficiency and effectiveness

The Links Card is a collective marketing platform for golf courses to serve up offers, usually focused on expiring tee times, to a ready audience that's focused on value.

Not only is it free to join, but you'll be on your way unlocking your yields and phasing out the harmful discount practices that have plagued the industry for decades.

Buffalo Run Golf Course, Commerce City, Colorado: A Comprehensive Overview

Buffalo Run Golf Course, nestled in Commerce City, Colorado, is a well-regarded 18-hole municipal course that offers golfers a challenging and enjoyable experience. Designed by renowned golf course architect Keith Foster and established in 1996, this links-style layout spans 7,411 yards from the longest tees and boasts a par of 72. Water hazards and strategically placed bunkers add to the course's difficulty, making it a test for golfers of all skill levels. The demanding par-3 13th hole, with its treacherous bunker near the green, is a standout challenge that requires precision and accuracy. While the back nine presents more obstacles than the front nine, it serves as an excellent opportunity for players to hone their skills and improve their game. With a slope rating of 130 and an expected score of 74.7 for scratch golfers, Buffalo Run Golf Course promises an engaging round for golfers of all skill levels.

Player Reviews: A Mixed Bag of Experiences

Buffalo Run Golf Course has garnered a range of reviews from players, reflecting both positive and negative experiences. Some golfers have lauded the course's layout and value for money, praising its wide-open fairways and affordable rates. One satisfied player remarked, "Wide open. Great round… Played 2 to 3 balls per hole… thankful…. New golf shoes were great." This player's glowing review highlights the course's enjoyable layout, favorable conditions, and overall value.

However, not all reviews have been as positive. Some players have expressed disappointment with the course conditions, particularly the rough shape of several holes. One reviewer noted that despite the beautiful weather, the course was still in need of improvements. Ongoing construction and maintenance work have also been cited as concerns by some golfers, who have encountered disruptions to their rounds. One player commented, "The course has been under maintenance the past year+ while they renovate the irrigation/drainage on the course." Despite these inconveniences, discounted pricing has been offered to compensate for the disruptions, providing some solace to budget-conscious golfers.

The Links Card, a respected golf course rating system, offers its own insights into the value proposition of Buffalo Run Golf Course. While acknowledging the course's wide-open layout and friendly staff, The Links Card also highlights the ongoing construction work that has affected certain holes. However, the discounted pricing resulting from these disruptions is seen as a positive factor, providing golfers with an opportunity to experience the course at a reduced cost.

Overall, Buffalo Run Golf Course offers a solid golfing experience for players of all skill levels. Its challenging layout, water hazards, and bunkers provide ample opportunities for golfers to test their skills. While some concerns have been raised about course conditions due to ongoing renovations, the discounted pricing helps to mitigate these issues and offers golfers a chance to enjoy a round of golf at a reasonable price.

My course is fully booked, why do I need The Links Card?

We simply want you to have the systems in place to reduce $0 tee times, even if they are rare for you.

Our platform allows you to create offers that increase demand during times that you need it, even if it's as small of a window as after 2pm on Mondays.

What is considered an expiring tee-time?

From what we've seen, it's the time frame when chances of bookings drop drastically and the expected value of a tee time rapidly approaches $0. For most courses, it's the last 24 hours before a tee time.

24 hours if our default but you're welcome to extend your offer out to meet the needs of your course. For example, a more rural course may want to use 72 hours while a resort near a city may want to use 24 hours

Can my course do this on our own?

Great question and you absolutely can!

It's easy enough to build out an audience of value golfers. From what we've heard from our partner courses, the more difficult and time consuming part is utilizing them without damaging your brand.

Instead of adding another set of processes to your to do list, you can leverage The Links Card and our process to increase your yields for free.
