Pros: The links card is extremely valuable to me and my playing partners since it allows us to play courses that we would not normally play. It also lets me ride a cart for the longer and/or hilly courses when I normally walk at the local courses where I regularly play. As I get older I even choose courses only because they are links card members and I can ride a cart. It is nice to play different courses without breaking the bank for someone on a fixed income. I also appreciate the access to magazine subscription that keeps me informed of the latest techniques and equipment.

Cons: I wish that all courses were members so I could play them. Some courses we used to play regularly no longer accept the Links Card and our 4-some has decided to not play there because the greens fees and cart fee is way too high than with the Links Card."

Pros: The pros of the Links Card are the reasons that we and our golfing friends in New England purchase the card annually. As listed below, the pros are benefits that we all enjoy no matter where we meet up for golf in New England. This was a great tip that one of our friends passed around to our golfing group years ago. We always check the prices and availability on the Links courses and make our choices from there. We have never been disappointed.
-Great courses to choose from
-Carts are included
-No hidden costs
-The staff that honor the Links Card have been most gracious and helpful. Other golf discount cards include courses that the staff impart resentment to ""discounts.""
-The ability to purchase cards at a discount at certain times of the year.
Cons: The cons are not too many. Cons: - No restricted times in most courses
-Would like to see more courses in the Boston area
-Would also like to see the card available in the southwest (Arizona ). Many people winter in warmer states."

Pros: The Links Card is accepted at many very good golf courses and the value is significant, including meals as well as golf fees.

Cons: The tee times are quite limited at some courses. But that's not a major problem for me because there are so many options and, being retired, my schedule is flexible."

Pros: I love having a Links card because I get to play at courses for a good discount that I would not normally play at. This card is a great value for anyone!

Cons: As long as you don't mind that at some course you can not play on the weekends there are no cons."

Pros: Lots of great courses to choose from and it motivates us to take road trips to these courses around the state and occasionally in nearby states. Pays for itself in just one or two rounds. Discovered some courses we may not have gone to otherwise.

Cons: Not aware of any cons to the links card except there are a few higher end courses I would love to go to that aren't yet included in the card yet. I do not see that as a true con as the choices do include a number of the higher end courses I would like to play."
